Just heard about this driving home from work. It sucks. I feel so bad for his little girl.

Me too. Was he married to Michelle Williams?
its just really really sad.
I liked him. Don\'t know why it upset me so much, but I got this awful pit in my stomach. So close to my age maybe...little girl...good actor...depressed and miserable like myself, who knows...
i thought he was already dead

The article said this may have been a suicide attempt. If that\'s the case, as sorry as I am for his family, I have no sympathy/pity towards him. Any person who makes such a serious choice about their precious life
deserves to get their wish to leave this planet, imo.

Wow. Having worked with suicidal people as a psychiatric nurse I can honestly say that the opinion expressed in this quote is ignorant and entirely inhumane.

FreeSpirit= thinking of the victim\'s family
Leith= Thinking of the victim.
No wrong or right here. I think what Leith is trying to say is that people don\'t understand the nature of depression. Much like addiction, it clouds judgement to the point where the victim (and I use that word with purpose) can no longer think along the lines of \'what will this do to my family\' any more than a crack head who can\'t put down the pipe. I do believe it is a disease.
If not suicide- a real message to all of us who\'ve used sleeping pills to help come down. I know I\'ve done it, and it is stupid dangerous.

wildcoyote you are correct in your assessment of my post. I may have been a bit harsh but I have seen what happens in many different cases of attempted suicide and twice successful attempts by patients in a Ward I was working in. Depression is a disease and some people come to the realization that their only "cure" is death. For someone who is mentally stable ( or in this case pretty stable

) of course this is totally inconceivable and leads to statements such as Freespirit made.
i heard he was in one of the olsen twins\' house?
I really don\'t care.
However, apparently alot of people do. It was on NPR headlines after the presidential debate and before the unrest in Kenya last night.
so while i was having my oil changed, i was watching my absolute favorite fair and balanced news station, fox news... and they reported that they are not suspicious of suicide.... but that he may have unintentionally overdosed on something.
they mentioned that he was being treated for pneumonia, and also, that they were sending a "suspiciously folded 20 dollar bill with an unidentified white substance on it" to be analyzed. ( )
the pharmacist in me thinks that he was on a newer antibiotic for the pneumonia, which has a side effect of causing cardiac arrhythmias (ie, your heart freaks out).... when you use a drug like
****, it also alters the heart\'s electrical conductivity, making it prone to arrhythmias (ie, its easier for your heart to freak out)... methinks combining the two may have something to do with it.
since i\'m a big science nerd, i like to make hypotheses

... either way.... interesting developments. they said it could take up to a week to find a cause of death. really really really sad.
