I would have loved something like this in school. It\'s aimed at middle schools.
The Film Foundation created The Story of Movies, an integrated interdisciplinary curriculum, in recognition of the importance of exposing future generations to classic cinema and teaching them about the cultural, artistic, and historical significance of film.
Thanks to the generous support of the IBM Corporation and Turner Classic Movies (TCM), the Story of Movies programs are being distributed free of charge to schools nationwide.

I had some sick film classes in high school. i wish there had been a class on Spike Lee alone!!
I went to Temple University Film School, we got our share of Spike Lee there.

I had an entire class on the movie Traffic in college... never forgot it... great stuff
yea, I had film class also in college, the point I was trying to make was this is designed for middle school
