A friend of my exboyfriend found 6 black lab (cross) puppies in the middle of the road last Saturday. He had them wormed, bathed, and sprayed for fleas, but he cannot keep them. Right now they are living ina kennel in his basement.
All of the shelters around here are full so he is going to contact Animal Control soon. This means that they will have 5 days to find a home before they are killed. I will be fostering one of them if no homes are found (ha ha, obviously.) If you would like a new little friend, or know someone who might, please contact me. Also, please ask around among all of the dog lovers you know to see if anyone might want one. They\'re cuuuuuuuute....

there are several rescuse i know of and i can get you the #\'s for the contacts. i\'m sure they\'ll be able to find a foster for these babies without splitting them up.

Sorry I have been away from the computer. Not sure how old the pups are. I have been unable to get in contact with the person who has them. As soon as I get in touch I will report back.

No kidding. I want them all. I have serious puppy envy. I have the land, but a very small house that already contains a relatively large dog. *sigh*

After trying for two days to contact the finder of the puppies, my friend has come to the conclusion that the email is a hoax. Lovely. I had found homes for all of them too. Ha.
It is probably a good thing, however, because otherwise I might have ended up with one of them.
