Okay, so a few weeks, maybe a month and a half ago, I spilled some beer on/in my laptop. It didn\'t seem to bother it except a few keys sticking here and there. Then it started to have an issue. The problem lasted a week or so then went a way for a few weeks and has since returned. Here\'s the problem:

When on any screen (desktop, app. menu, within a windows window, internet browser, etc.), it seems like the down arrow is locked or some sort of scroll lock. Scroll lock is definitely off, and the beer didn\'t spill anywhere near the arrows. If I hit the arrow keys a bunch the problem stops for a good 30 seconds-5 minutes then returns. I think it may be a touchpad issue, but can\'t find the damn option to disable the touchpad. Is it definitely the beer being spilt, or could it be a virus of some sort (havent updated my definitions in a year or two)?

Pentium 4 1.something ghz

20GB HD

Any help, reccomendations, etc. would be super.
