there\'s been plenty of cases of attention **** listing **** on ebay and people bidding up their items with absolutely no intention of paying, yes.

I have heard of people bidding on their own items to increase the price right before the bidding ends.

What good is jacking up the price if no one is going to purchase it? What kind of attention could that gratify?
