[WIKI]Caminito del Rey[/WIKI]
Dave, nice find. Crazy is an understatement. Love the music, too. Sounds a bit like Banco de Gaia.
wow! that is wild! i can\'t say those giant gaping holes in the middle of the trail would make me feel comfortable... but damn!
that is definitly a bad ass looking hike, but talk about sketchy spots. damn !!
wow - beautiful scenery! :awwyeah:
:chin: makes me wonder how that path was originally built...
Daaamn. Anyone else\'s legs feel weak at times while watching this? I was a trailworker for 6 months out in the NW, nothing even remotely similar to Caminito del Rey-diculous.
omg! how did this person cross those gaps while holding the camera?? i\'m shaking just watching the video! i wonder how many deaths there are there each year... this person is absolutely crazy.
if you noticed about halfway through one of the other hikers has on a rock climbing harness and is strapping himself into the safety line that runs the whole length of the route. Still, I couldn\'t do that.
terrified of heights when I see something like that.
I\'m down to do a lot of crazy
**** but uh
**** that.
i would do it with the gear to strap into the ropes, def not without.
that guy is insane
although there are many parts of that which scare the
**** out of me, I could probably do most of it if I really had to or pushed myself. However, when it comes to the parts where he walks across the metal bars? no way in hell. I\'d be crawled up in the corner shaking like a baby.
I\'d love to do it!! Fear lets you know you\'re still alive. But...yeah...I\'d use a harness. You never know when one of those holes might want to get bigger.

You\'d probably manage to put down a 24-pack of Sierra during that hike.
