Yes, you read right - CT got a mention on a Beeb programme and they didn\'t go to Hartford.

Stephen Fry, erstwhile collaborator with Hugh laurie, now of House fame, is has driven a converted London taxi across 50 US States (I guess Hawaii and Alaska will be missed out) and made a six part series about it.

Only stopped at the submarine base though and no local music to be heard, though there was some irony in their choosing Jefferson Airplane\'s anti-war/establishment anthemVolunteers as the music they played in the background as he sailed across from Narragansett to the naval base.

Don\'t know if this will work outside the UK, but you can watch the programme here:

At least when he stopped in VT, he went to Ben & Jerry\'s though!

Joce likes\'em old and grizzled.  Hugh Laurie, Jeff Goldblume (sp?).

By the way Joce, are you watching Law & Order Criminal Intent now that Jeff has joined the cast?

This is somewhat true. Every time I hear The Police\'s "Don\'t Stand Too Close To Me" I think of my eighth grade teacher.

I had not heard about Jeff joining L&O until now. Thanks so much.

I\'m not saying there\'s anything wrong with old or grizzled.  Not every woman can look beyond age and appreciate the benefits that comes with a man of experience.

I tried watching this, but it won\'t work unless I d/l some program for it.
And, yes, Ben & Jerry\'s is a place that must be visited if in the US! :awwyeah:
