I figure what better place to ask-
Can I do that? I have last minute guests coming for supper and since I made chicken parm last night I was planning on serving some form of leftovers tonight. apparently you cant do that ive been informed.
so can I cut it up and put it on top of a pizza? fyi, the sauce is yummy fresh from my garden.
Hmmm...the place I got a slice in NYC a couple of weeks ago before the Lion\'s Den show had chicken parm slices. So I guess you can do it. What\'s the difference between a chicken parm sandwich and a chicken parm pizza besides it being on a hero vs. on crust?
As A Lover of the Chicken Parm Slice I say do eet!
sounds weird to me. how about pizza with chicken parm on the side? they dont have to know its leftovers
DO IT!!!! it\'s really good
Mel...you can definitely do it....
The way we do it at mike ants....
stretch dough to pizza>
apply pizza sauce>
apply generous amount of fried breaded chicken cutlet>
apply generous amount of grated parm >
apply the mozz >
cook till perfect...
however...
since you already have the chicken parm made, here is how I would do it......(assuming the ckn parm is already covered in cooked tomato sauce and melted cheese)
stretch out dough....
apply a mix of grated parm and mozz -NO SAUCE- (or whatever cheeses appeal to your fancy)
par-bake your "white pizza"
remove momentarily from oven
apply chopped up chicken parm leftovers (bite size pieces)
put back in oven to finish baking and heat up and melt the added chicken parm....
good luck...
bon appetit!
What time should I come over?
you\'re all welcome to join!
thanks everyone for the ideas esp steve- i too was thinking i would need to cook dough more than already cooked chix, but no, it is not preassembled. i knew before i served it last night that it was going to be way too much.
I agree it will be tastier underneath the mozz than on top. this is more difficult mainly because i dont eat meat so its tough to picture what\'s good vs over the top.
I\'m so glad I planted 68 tomato plants this year! theyre climbing my front steps tied to the railing.
I gotta go start on the dough ...
Mel....
if you are planning on using pizza sauce then add the "uncooked" pizza sauce to the dough and then the cut up chicken and then the cheese....
if you are using cooked tomato sauce, then I recommend using the cheese on the bottom (and the top if you dare

) with the par baking...only reheating the cooked sauce, chicken etc.....
have fun!
i\'m with wolf.. further..
what\'s the difference between \'chicken pizza\' and \'chicken parm pizza\', with the exception of maybe breaded vs. non-breaded chicken??
There is no difference between cknparm pizza or sub other than bread vs crust.....
the different chicken pizzas that i know of.....
chicken parm (sause/cheese)
buffalo chicken (white za w/ breaded chicken doused in wing sauce)
grilled chicken za (usually with fresh tomato and garlic...artichoke hearts/capers/gaieta olives optional for fancy tastes)
i\'m so hungry... i guess it\'ll be pizza for lunch today.
I would roll out the dough spread all the toppings on top roll it up and throw it in the oven. my wife makes an awesome pizza bread that way. almost a calzone but its not a pocket it\'s a rolled up bread.
mmmmm.... I think I\'ll add olives
now the big question is, to roll or not to roll, the dough
I say pound the dough....
pound the
**** outta it...
do you make your own dough?

I assume you have a pizza stone or an actual pizza oven?
