Hey tapers of dot info. i\'m looking for some sort of portable recorder to take around to all the urban fetch shows for our own archiving purposes. does anyone have something they\'re looking to sell or can maybe point me in the right direction? i have a pair of 4047s and a decent stereo preamp, just need something to record onto.

Cobb see above but if you have specific questions would be more than willing to help.
For Example does your pre-amp have an analog to digital converter ? If so what format does it out put in ie. SPIDF or Optical or both etc etc.
The JB3 above has a pretty decent A/D if you dont have an A/D. If you do have an A/D it will take a mini optical connection if you want to use it is a bit bucket.
it will only do 16/48 but that shouldn\'t be a big deal depending on what you want to do with the recordings
these are just for our own use so it doesn\'t need to be crazy high quality. 16/44.1 would be fine for us. the preamp doesn\'t have A/D so i\'d be relying on the unit for that.
