There should be a website dedicated to reviewing and discussing pizza. beeradvocate.com is a great model. If I had the time and resources I would love to start pizaadvocate.com Anyone know of a good site?

Good site, but nowhere to review pizza. A lot of people on there with their tongues way up Sally\'s :ass: I wish there was an open review section so the rest of the unbrainwashed world could hear the horrible truth!

Aww yeah, bringin back the apizza thread. Heard that the semis were last night and want an update. I want all stats for dough, cheese, sauce, and box Pitchie! Seriously, who\'s in the finals and will this be over before the 1 year mark? (Thread was started on 6/18/3 after the seeding.)

the wait has nothing to do with the quality of the pizza..you go on a bad night at a bad hour youre not gonna be too happy. thats just inexperience.

i agree that the wait has nothing to do w/ the pizza. i\'m talking strictly pizza here. it\'s just really not all that it\'s **** up to be. the cheese wasn\'t fresh and the pie was extremely greasy. the crust was good, but nothing spectacular.

So when are the finals and who\'s in it? I\'ve had enough of all these sudden date changes every time...I make big plans for these and then everyone goes and cancels and the date changes. I\'m making big plans for the finals, will go on pizza strike from now until then so I don\'t weaken my pizza palatte. Any dates scheduled?

no date scheduled as of yet, but we\'re looking at Sally\'s vs. Pepe\'s in the finals..

Gee, Sally\'s vs. Pepe\'s...there\'s a shocker. Everyone\'s gonna know which is which, blindfolded or not, it\'s just gonna be a matter of people\'s predetermined preference. Before the apizza is served, ask everyone in the room which they prefer. The blindfolded results will be identical. I might not know the difference, having only had Pepe\'s once (in the quarterfinals), but is there anyone who lives in the Superhaven area who thinks they won\'t know the difference?

Since the blindfold factor is out, I say that the finals should be sit-down in each restaurant, with service as a counted category. Figure out which is truly the better restaurant. This I want to know. We learn nothing from hearing that a blind taste test among a bunch of Superhaven Italianos indicated Sally\'s as the best apizza. What do the people think?

not true. if this were the case, i wouldn\'t have voted against my favorite place (john & maria\'s) in the tourney.. same reason sally\'s and pepe\'s both had votes against them the other night.. tim even voted for grand over sally\'s right down the line.. i voted against sally\'s in the cheese department.. blah..

blah... that\'s not why we\'re having the tournament. the tournament is to determine who has the best-tasting pizza. period. we all know sally\'s service sucks.. that\'s not the point.. if you service is all you care about, call domino\'s and they\'ll have it to you in 30 minutes or less, or it\'s free.. just don\'t forget to order some tangy buffalo wings and cinnamon sticks to compliment their great apizza..

...and that\'s why we\'re pizza snobs.

You can\'t sit down in Domino\'s, so it is out. And the 30 minute guarantee lasted for about 10 minutes. I\'m just more interested in best experience in a restaurant than just best tasting apizza. I wonder who would win that. Sure, each band would get some votes, but The Breakfast would obviously win.

Maybe it\'s the Red Sox fan in me, but I find it kinda boring when overwhelming favorites win all the time. Who knows, it\'s not over, maybe Sally\'s will lose, but the Wolf line has Sally\'s at -210 right now.
