Instructions???
Copper tube 1 1/2 ft. long 1 1/4 diameter open ended.
2 caps for tube ends.
In 1 cap drill 1/8 inch hole or just large enough to fit butane tip in
Other end drill 5-7 really small holes.
Get a coffee filter cut and put in cap w/ small holes.
Fill tube w/ crushed leaf material(the better the leaf the better the product. Waterleaf works good but sugarleaf is better of course).
Cap ends and tape w/ electrical tape.
Get a towel or oven glove to hold tube as it will freeze up from the butane.
Take a shallow glass pan and use to collect fluid.
In a WELL VENTILATED space take an 8oz. can of butane and insert in top cap. Over the pan a few inches above place the tube and insert the butane.
It will drip out into pan. When the color of the fluid becomes clear from a yellowish color you are done w/ that tube.
Repeat entire process until all leaf material is used.
Let the butane evaporate naturally. To enhance evaporation use another pan w/ warm water in it under your collection pan.
REMEMBER BUTANE IS FLAMMABLE. This is a very safe process if you are in a ventilated space and have no sparkable things and you are smart about it.
You will get a VERY STICKY substance that is quite powerful. You can freeze it and chip it or warm it up over a boiling pot and scrap it up w/ a razor. Only a small amount needs to be melted over your boule. Do not touch the flame that appears, fan it out.
As w/ all such methods this should only be used to make a MEDICINAL jelly hash.
