i am in for eataly... although i feel like count dracula or chocula while saying that!!! "I vant to go to Eataly... not Eataly, Eataly."

and fave craft beers in no particular order...
Bar Harbor Blueberry
New Belgium esp Fat Tire
Flying Dog!!!!
Sammy Smith esp Oatmeal Stout
Saranac & Long Trail et al

and my favorite heady domestic macro brew is def yeungling lager!  i can drink that all of the time!

My buddy turned me on to the yeungling light. Might be the best light beer / lager I have had in a long time. A really good beer a GREAT light beer

I\'ve gone through so many phases with beer. We drink a SHITLOAD of Bud light. But that is just for hanging out etc like drinking water

"sipping" beers would include but not limited to

New Castle
Long Trail
Sam Adams
Dog Fish (rarely these days)
Samuel Smiths
Sanguintas
Fin Du Monde
Maudite
lucky Kat
Odd
Circus Boy

Really depends on my mood. And I usually switch it up sometime in the night if i\'m drinking. Although I have really cut it back big time. Try to only drink on the weekends these days

A thread after my own heart.  Not sure how many of these are
available in the East, but these are some of my current favorites.
Can you tell I like \'em with a kick?

Bell\'s Two Hearted Ale-IPA (MI)  7% abv
Bell\'s Hopslam-DIPA (MI)  10% abv
Bell\'s Expedition Stout-Imperial Stout (MI)  11.5% abv
Three Floyd\'s Dreadnaught-DIPA (IN)  9.5% abv
Three Floyd\'s Gumballhead-Wheat Beer (IN)  4.8% abv
Three Floyd\'s Alpha King-American Pale Ale (IN)  6.5% abv
Stone IPA & Ruination (DIPA) (CA)  6.9% & 7.7% abv
Dogfish Head Palo Santo Marron-Strong Ale (DE)  12% abv
Port Hop 15-DIPA (CA)  9.5% abv
Goose Island Bourbon County (Imperial) Stout (IL)  11% abv
Surly Furious-IPA (MN)  6% abv, available only on tap and in cans

Other favorite brewers include Southern Tier (NY), Victory (PA),
Dark Horse (MI) and Bear Republic (CA)

Al Z needs to check in with some good West Coast brews.

Drink up and enjoy your week.
You Lucky Bastards!

Only heard of Dogfish.
Bell\'s Two Hearted Ale may be my choice.
I like a kick, but don\'t want to go down for the count after one.

It really is too bad the Beverage Barn is closed now.

For those that don\'t know I moved in to an Apartment above a Beverage Dist. (really a microbrew, imported beer haven etc) many years ago. For many years we were as spoiled as spoiled could be when it came to beer. I would simply walk down a flight of stairs and have my choice of beer from around the world. This place was known for years in the area for the place to go for really good beer etc (albeit expensive kind of. I always got the renters discount ;) ) Any way they have been basically out of business now for about a year or so. The local grocery stores have picked up the slack a bit and there is a dist. in the next town which isn\'t bad. But nothing beats living above a beer store (well for a beer lover anyway)
