true, but to those new fans who come onto this board in search of music, who may not use or approve of drug use, it may be a turn-off.
sorry chip, but if folks are stumbling into this band, its because they\'re high! sure, advertisement style posts shouldn\'t be on here, but for a band formerly known as PSYCHEDELIC i doubt quite seriously that anyone would be surprised to find out that the fan base (of mostly young 20\'s/college kids) enjoys heightening their experiences. sure, folks can be a bit more subtle, but to say that hearing that a jamband\'s fanbase does drugs is gonna turn off a potential jamband fan.... well, i simply can\'t buy that. maybe there\'s a guy out there who will change his mind, but frankly, how many kidz go to shows to score teh dr00gs?! yep, tons of \'em. how many folks are at the average bfast show? yep, not tons of \'em. i\'d just as soon see a huge banner at the top of the site that says \'IF YOU GO TO A BREAKFAST SHOW YOU WILL GO HOME
**** UP!!!!\' because then maybe more folks would show up, get turned on by the music and become regularly show-going fans. of course, that\'s also me being cynical to an extent, but you get my gist. overall, its not smart to talk about illegal things in public, but to try not to talk about illegal things for fear of scaring off jamband fans seems counter-intuitive, to me.
that being said, i\'m gonna go take one of my legally prescribed, medicinal pain pills now because my stomach is starting to act up! :^p
