I don\'t want to re-convert this to mp3. That seems silly. I guess there will be a caveat in the text file that says that this originated from a lossy source. Unless we can get our hands on the true original file.

split FLAC, split mp3, split ogg vorbis

mp3splt.sourceforge.net

^ this program can split mp3 into tracks without transcoding them.

but it would make more sense to get the lossless version if this was not recorded straight to mp3
