Thanx Adrian. So was that Roadhouse an audible or on the setlist?
Smokin\' show guys. Love the new tunes!
jam > , Escher\'s Etchings and Buquebus were the highlights for me.
Inca Roads... is this played at every show now? I think I\'m the Slime and Echidna\'s Arf are way more fun and rockin Zappa songs. Inca Roads kills the flow of sets for me. It\'s a nice Zappa song, but it\'s also the most cliche Zappa song I can think of.
Just play Frankly Po Zest instead. It\'s a better song.
Also The Doors suck.
Last thing I have to say..... they skipped the best part of Gladys Pimp!!! Doooods, don\'t skip the super fast funky part right before the jam!! That\'s like the best 2 minutes of music ever! Rage that section!
There were definitely highlights but a few boring songs thrown into the setlist keeps me from calling this a great Breakfast show.
Love the new Ahead of Your Doom tune. It\'s got the precise complexity of Zappa, the dank stank of P. Funk, and all the flavor and energy of the breakfast!
and an April residency on its way!!!
come on, people! this slips by with such little mention?! can\'t wait! any more details as to night? (and we\'re talking breakfast here, right?)

You bet. The Breakfast. Fridays in April at the Acoustic Cafe. How cool is that!!

yes it is a breakfast residency, i sent a message to the band members already to get confirmation of the dates and other nfo... tim said fridays in april. There are 5 of them (4/1, 8, 15, 22, 29), so as soon as more details are available i will post them. 5 breakfast shows in ct all within a months time... that sure as hell is exciting news!
there were \'glide\' (phish) teases from tim in there somewhere i think. tunage maybe?
Did Fitzy audio capture this as well while he was doing the stream? I know there was another taper dude the, skiprince but i didn\'t see if he had his gear with him.

your guess is as good as mine... usually by the time i figure out it was a tease, i cant remember the name of the song right away and then i eventually forget it happened. i usually need the audio recording to jog my memory.
but a few boring songs thrown into the setlist
were we at the same show?

??
Cause I found absolutely nothing boring.
And the doors don\'t suck.
Love the new Ahead of Your Doom tune.
Same here. It was a pleasant surprise.

another reason, to add to my long list, why i can\'t wait for spring....
Thanks fitz for the webcast. Nice to catch the first set before I headed out for the night. How was the 2nd new song debut?
I miss my Breakfast!
Felt like I was at my first Breakfast show and just heard the best band ever!!!
The Doors certainly do suck. What was the name of their bassist again? That\'s right they didn\'t have one. Imagine the Breakfast or any other great band not having a bassist. I\'m sure now people will say they were so awesome they didn\'t need one. But to each their own I guess. And Frankly Po, Mooboo\'s or Sundace as well as many others would\'ve been a nice substitute for ANY doors song. But, I\'m not in the band and sadly do not write the setlists so, I guess it\'s tough
**** for me. A lot of OT this week made this show hard to get to but it was really kinda cool to watch the stream on my phone while laying in bed. I fell asleep after turning off Roadhouse Blues, for reasons previously stated, but everything else I watched was really good. Overexposure and Honey Butter were really good and Ahead of Your Doom has a great second half. I was a little upset I wasn\'t there for that reeeeaally great Escher\'s 1 & 2, maybe next time. See ya!
