I\'m not going to go into the amount of time, shows, money, help, promotion, ect... that I provided from \'00-\'02 because no one gives a ****... If TB was playing Mexicali, maybe I could squeeze some coin to get there, but KF (while they are great) in my opinion is not TB; just a difference in taste... As far as going and supporting, I do when I can... Right now, unemployment and 20 hours a week at Home Depot are keeping a roof over my family\'s head and food on the table; there\'s no room for any frivolity, even if it is a $10 cover...
When I do get back on my feet and TB comes around to North Jersey on a day that I can make, I\'ll be there... Until then, I\'ll continue to support the band by purchasing new TB releases (if something NEW comes out) and spreading the word about the band to people I know...
Is it possible for another administrator to take the reins from davepeck and open up this board to new folks? They\'re out there and want in on fun conversations like this. No seriously, I would do it but I would need some training. We need some fresh blood that is excited to talk about the Breakfast and all its related projects. We should find out when the domain name is expiring and make sure that we keep this around. Its gotta be a turn-off to go to a show or hear a tape from a friend and it moves you to seek out more about a band and not be able to join the message board.
I know how to administer phpBBB and vBulletin message boards and wouldn\'t mind doing so again. So long as I\'m not footin\' the bill for it. But aren\'t Kindm\'s and FrankZappa also admins? They should be able to approve new members... unless Dave never made them full admins.
