I am less likely to go to Breakfast shows with Kung-Fu also playing. First reason is I like rock music, and jazzy-funk with horns was just never really my thing. Second reason is The Breakfast has to probably play a shorter set (Iron Horse was like a 45 minute show) and honestly if I\'m driving to another state I hope to see two killer sets of Breakfast.

I second this fully.

But seriously, I agree.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

The Fu is amazingly sick. I am looking forward to seeing them as soon as possible. If this helps the Breakfast in any way is a huge bonus. I understand not wanting to travel too far for only an hour of the Breakfast, but these guys need our support more than ever before. Both these bands are making some incredible music right now. The ganging up of both bands now is an experiment worth trying.
You never know what\'s going to click and catch some needed attention for everyone involved.
More Fu less Breakfast...less Fu more Breakfast...keep the bands separate with just shows on their own.
Who knows what will work, but you got to try things.
If you people don\'t like Fu talk on thebreakfast.info, then don\'t read it! Skip the Fu threads!
No one in The Breakfast has an issue with the Breakfast, Kung Fu combo shows.
I doubt every show in the future will be combo shows. It\'s fun for now.

can i like both? when i\'m in a more fusiony mood, i prefer teh fu, when i wanna rawk, i prefer teh bfast. if i was at a show where they were both playing, i\'d want them all onstage the whole time.

Could happen more, the more they play together.
Bought my first RAQ cd at a coffee shop in Newmarket,NH.
There it was, front of the cd bin! RAQ Carbohydrates!
Great band! Great players! Bring\'em on in! Let\'s party!

When the CD is out for KF and when they really start rollin.. I wonder how many people will get turned on to the Breakfast because they get into KF..hmmmm.....
I wonder if KF becomes more popular than BF (outside .info)
Will it open new doors for BF? hmm....

That would be great!  In theory this is a great idea... The flip-side of the coin is that KF takes off and TB is put on hold to pursue KF...  Unless TB is happy to take opening slots for KF, it\'s going to happen... Are Jordan and Chris okay with being the opening slot for KF; I thought they would strive for more than that...
