well Kris may have converted me but Rob makes a fine minister of the sax as well
Nick you sure look like you were converted tonight on the Ustream lol
I was absolutely converted last night. Set II Kung FU was honestly one of the best sets of music i\'ve seen all year! Darian Cunning sit-in for almost all of set II was a great call. He absolutely ripped it up...he really elevated Tim\'s playing as well as the rest of the band. YOu could tell they were very impressed.
This band with Rob Sommerville vs. Kris Jensen is night and day. Kris is very talented, but I didn\'t like his sound in the overall Kung Fu dynamic. He played way too many notes and was turned up way to high in the mix. I felt like he was always "scribbling" his horns across the rest of the music. It was very distracting; plus it made the music much less danceable. With ROb, his sax blends with the overall sound a lot better. He sounds like he is playing with the band rather than on top of the band. I always liked Kung Fu, but last night was a game changer. I am \'all in\' and am very excited to hear them play again
Also...
A big thank you to Chris, Matt and Ken for all their hard work this month. Each webcast was better than the last one and they did an incredible job broadcasting Kung Fu to the world. Last night ended with an epic and well deserved Matt, Chris and Ken chant from the crowd.
You guys rock!
::goes on matt, chris, and ken tour::

Nick, I am with you 100 percent. I also was only converted after seeing KF w/ Rob the week prior for all the same reasons you stated above. I\'m all in.
Darian must have been total sickness! Dude is incredible. Add him to the band!

Listening to this with 2 15" subs in a bandpass enclosure... nothing short of amazing!!
Rob= Manic Depression -I love it
Kris Jensen made his great offering to Kung Fu!!!
I don\'t really know what\'s going on, but Kris should always be welcome for a jam or two with the Fu.
Rob is also a great sax player for Kung Fu. Now we have a Deep Fu Blackout!
Welcome Rob and your smooooooth sound!!!
