Hey..Bryan in Aberdeen here. I would have to say that out of the 5 shows I\'ve seen now this one was by far the best. Aberdeen only has 24k but the scene here is great. I\'ve been spreading the word to many in the area and the several of the older crowd that were in attendance were very impressed. I was actually disappointed that more of the older musicians in town didnt show up. There were a lot of random kids that showed up just for the recreational aspect but there were also many that I\'ve talked too that were blown away.
The venue is below several high end condos in an old Ballroom and about 1/2 way through the first set the promoters were getting noise complaints. The guys running sound were struggling all night with the sound and they usually have bands setup in the band shell originally meant for acoustic instruments without a Mesa Boogie and Adrian in the room. The PA simply couldnt keep up. Once 2nd set started the guys turned down a bit and the sound was great. Then about 2/3 through the set they realized that the PA was able to do itself justice and there was some singing but the instrumental
**** was great and kept the crowds attention the entire time.
Overall...great show. Was nice to meet Stephen and (sorry I forgot your name) "the other guy." Look forward to TB\'s next visit to Aberdeen. Next time it will be a different venue.
