I am definitely not fluent or anything, but my ear for German is pretty good. They did about as well as the Beatles in terms of pronunciation (which wasn\'t great, but good enough for rock and roll).
Go see your Breakfast, there are starving Leiths in California

definitely a dooze crowdwise.  the opening acts were like hipster soft-rock lullaby music so it was kind of awkward w/ the breakfast playing last and none of the people supporting those acts stayed for the breakfast.  the tunes were good, first time seeing metropolis.  rufus was a nice treat b/c it holds a special place in my heart. wouldn\'t say it was my favorite show ever or best show ever but i was excited to see band outside of the northeast/new england and in my new home.  and it was great seeing the guys and leith, al z and girlfriend lauren, and meeting citroen.  really looking forward to san diego tonight, where i think they will throw down much harder than last night.  oh yeah there were these 3 black dudes hootin and hollerin all night and they seemed like they dug the band, but then they disappeared.

stoops is probably listening to more breakfast than i am right now (i listen to at least 2 shows a day) and snooping around on .info to see what songs we the fans want to hear, learning those songs at a rapid pace, and thinking of good setlists that would blow us all away for the freakout.

either that or he\'s chillin with his family being all cocky

Definitely the one oddball show of the six I saw last week.  Most of the people were quietly dispersed at tables along the perimeter.  The only people near the stage were myself, Leith, Estah, Citroen, Lauren, Gencs, Ellis, the kid who requested Rufus and tha dogg pound (mentioned previously by Estah).

I missed the opener but heard it was an odd pairing for The Breakfast.  The highlights of the night were Metropolis/Rufus and super easy parking on Pico BLVD.  It\'s kind of a strange neighborhood:  You come from one direction and you are in Little Ethiopia.  Approach from the other side and The Mint is just beyond the edge of Beverly Hills.

One question: where was Wstielau on the LA>SD run?
