dude SER rufus fake out around the 64 minute mark second set (gladys).

I brought it up after the show but no one seemed to know what I was talking but I knew I had heard it. Vindication! It\'s awesome too.

This is my interpretation of the mayhem:

I: Jam > Synergy* > Cut Me Some Slack, Inner Glimpse, Synergy Reprise Jam$ > What the Funk#, Synergy%, Reel Time

II: MayFly^> TLATG > May Fly^& > Metropolis, Gladys Pimp > Merge, SOS

*Begining and Jam only
$ (Jam on the riff that leads into the ending)
#with Synergy Teases
%Proper Ending
^Inverted
& w/Rufus Fake Out

I don\'t understand the Synergy Reprise Jam; it\'s either Synergy or Jam (w/Synergy teases).  There is no Synergy reprise.  And whil we\'re at it, the second set opened as Ahoy! > TLATG > May Fly

reprise might not be the right word for it but its not the composed ending part so calling it synergy isn\'t really right.

There is a 5 note riff that is normally played at the end of the jam to signal they are going back into the ending. They jam out the interlude between that  riff and the ending to varying degrees in different versions.

In this case the band stops playing, starts in with that riff, jams it, but never goes into the composed ending section like they normally do, going into  WTF instead. Hence the \'reprise jam\' notation. If you have a better name for it I\'m all ears but thats the correct technical explanation of what it is.

for the record I hate when people break up songs in set lists saying Whatever Song>bass solo>Jam or queeb>drum solo>queeb and the like. Too me thats nit picking and sells songs short on total minutes and full deservedepicness. Also while we are on the subject... if a Jam> is recognizable from the start as going into a certain song the jam shouldn\'t be notated. Doing that creates a mental divide and takes away from serness of the version in my mind. It seems like a way more epic version if you see and consider it all one song not all hacked up. Thats just me though.

"35 minute queeb" is better than: "(2 minute)Jam>queeb>(3min)drum solo>(6min)jam>queeb"

Second version just butchers it for no good reason.
