I: Gravity > jam > What The Funk, Synergy > Hard Luck Harry > Rush*
II: Puppetry**, jam > Tunage^ > Over Exposure
E: One More Saturday Night^^
* with \'Rainy Day Women #12 & 35\' (Bob Dylan) tease.
** with band switch-up: Tim on keyboards, Matt on bass, Chris on drums, Adrian on guitar.
^ with Ross Huff (The Macpodz) on trumpet; with \'Two Princes\' (Spin Doctors) tease; unfinished.
^^ first time played (Grateful Dead); with Jordan Giangreco on keyboards and Brennan Andes (The Macpodz) on harmonica.
Solver (during Puppetry): "I always thought it was Tim who could play guitar like that. Turns out it\'s just the guitar."
Looks epic.... what was the time on Set II?
couple more notes:
the macpodz are a shitton of fun. great job the last 2 nights. tim and adrian sat in for a tune in their set at sully\'s.
the breakfast soundcheck included a portion of phish\'s \'simple\', and pretty much all of \'stash\'. johnny upstate was the happiest i\'ve seen him all weekend during these, and i got to sing the \'maybe so maybe not\' part for the sake of being complete because chris didn\'t want to. good times.
the band sort of ran out of time towards the end of OE (last call), and you can tell they were rushing parts to end the song. i came up with the Tunage > Over Exposure > Tunage idea yesterday morning. everyone thought it was a hit. it\'s a shame that there was no time to finish it, cause it would have been epic.
cool show last night.. pretty impressive playing during the switch up in puppetry. one more saturday night was well executed and it was great seeing jordan up on stage. it\'s probably not the gd song i would have picked for the band to play but it\'s a good one either way. hope to see the guys play with the macpodz again sometime..i really enjoyed their set.
the bass player from the macpodz told me his name was brennan. he played the harmonica. that is all i know.
yet another great show. no limit to how many greats are in store.
...more later...i\'m tired...hope ellis\'s hat didn\'t burst into flames afterwards...
adrian owned the night. [period]
i remember hearing the tim and adrian sit-in w/ the macpodz and thinking that the most remarkable part of the sound was the cowbell. [hey, i guess i had a fever.] from that point on both sets were one monster after another, and the drums brought so much energy to the dance party. puppetry opened second set and i went upstairs for a second and when i came back down all hell was breaking loose. i\'ll let the tapes speak to the guitar solo because it
was puppetry [strat = puppeteer]. and i had a feeling that the encore was going to be a cover, because honestly what did they have left? did not see that one coming. was admittedly fearing some anticlimactic lameness, but it was all good and better! what a saturday night.
good times.

That is why CT sucks....last call is always toooo early...

That is only one of the reasons CT sucks
:banjug::banboogy2::banduo::bangun:sometimes I wish life didn\'t have to happen the way it does.. this
**** looks banannas!!! :banjug::banboogy2::banduo::bangun: glad to see Jordo still comes to hang out

and a tunage with a trumpet!! that second set is why the kidzzz say the word, "epic".. hope all had a blast, can\'t wait to peep that
**** on the tapes
This falls under the \'perfect setlist for Cheesecake\' category. Looks
**** awesome. Tunage > OE > Tunage? Greatest idea EVER dpeck. I\'d keep that one on an iTunes playlist by itself, repeated 8 times, and would never need
**** in my latter days. That\'s if it happened, of course.
Sickening Switch-Up-Ettry that went way further than I thought it would with that lineup and then came back around with force once the normal crew was back in place. Probably my show highlight.
My first electric Synergy, and though I\'m not ready to decide one way or the other, the jam, especially the second half, was also a highlight.
I felt this was a different kind of Hard Luck. I wasn\'t sure where the jam was heading until Matt stepped in and led it down an atypical, yet successful, path. Then segue to Rush was then crisp as can be.
Much like everyone, Tunage has vaulted way up my ladder and the trumpet solo was outstanding. In fact, I enjoyed the Macpodz set, Tim and Adrian\'s sit-in of course, and also enjoyed hanging with the band both during the show and afterwards as they shacked up here at the house. They were all definitely wowed by The Breakfast\'s performance.
Can\'t say I\'m in love with \'One More Saturday Night\' on a personal level, but it\'s definitely a good cover choice that had the crowd rollicking and featured a dynamite solo from Jordan, who I was also very happy to witness getting into Tunage. Great to see Sequoia as always along with Nikki, who was celebrating a Thursday birthday.
Dave, great idea for the Tune-wich. Another day, hopefully.
All in all, a high quality show.
I like the continued ballsyness of recent set lists.
