All things considered, I didn\'t think it was that bad of a drive. It just sucked fighting the wind. But you go the speeds you need to for the condition, give plenty of room around other cars, take the off bends/off ramps at 30 or less and you\'re fine.

were you coming from north of the city though?  anyone who knows that area knows that once you get about 10 miles north of cuse, the entire world changes...trust me, the conditions were AWFUL.  My father was about 5 miles north of cuse and he said it wasnt that bad there.  up where i was on the lake it looked/felt like the end of the world.

ah, no we came due west on the pike but we went right through oswego, or at least past signs with the name on it. I\'m sure it was worse the farther up you went.

I\'ll second that, DS...

I was up at my buddies parents Lake George house and the drive up Route 9 right along the lake was like drivin through Hades.  Trees were fallen all over the road, power lines down everywhere, no place to buy beer was open... luckily his parents had a stocked wine cabinet....

Looks like a wild show, cant wait to listen, thanks for reviews!

is that chris bowing (sort of) to matt?

i really wanted to go to this show, but i had gotten to oswego with my brother around 8, and the conditions there were literally the worst ive ever seen in my entire life.  just getting to the show would have taken over an hour, and it was a blizzard like none other up there (pretty much baldwinsville exit on 481 and north of there).  im really pissed i missed it though.  glad it was a good time.

Ah Paul you let him off EZ. Here let me.

Waaaaaaaahhhhh The show is over an hour away and it\'s snowing.
You\'re not pissed you missed the show as much as you\'re pissed you pussed out!

I wish I only had snow and an hour\'s distance to get to a Breakfast show.

Not a problem. Glad to return the favor.

Hopefully anyone who tried to sleep was warm enough. I had three sleeping bags in the extra bedroom but my drunkenness made me forget to bring them out to the living room.

Dave, you should have just hung out in Syracuse after the basketball game!

i had already driven 2 hours and 15 minutes to baldwinsville to see family friends in the afternoon, then i had to drive 50 minutes in the worst snow ever to oswego to meet my brother, then it would have been another over an hour in the worst weather imaginable back to downtown cuse.

Well if you had already driven 50 minutes in the worst snow ever why not drive the hour or so in the worst weather imaginable to \'Cuse? I mean you already got through the worst snow ever right?
Point is don\'t **** you missed a show due to weather. Come ON!

Probably just from reading it in print. There\'s no way he heard the show where he was.
