"And She Was" wouldn\'t be my first choice, but I\'m definitely not complaining about a Talking Heads cover. Can\'t wait to hear it, looks mighty on paper (err... screen).
Can\'t wait to hear "and she was" and a Zombies cover?!?!? sucks to miss this one! Looks like an interesting night!
HUGE dance party all night long, deece turnout for the snow/expected storm.. digging the new sound, lots of potential.. GREAT
**** covers, and Chris\' first HLH was done up properly y0! yah and a queeb encore?!?!?!?!?
alright, maybe not a HUGE dance party but it felt like it at times
sick hardluck harry. they unzzed the
**** out of it.
last night definitely topped thursday at the wheelhouse for me.
i\'m still getting used to the new songs..i like rush a lot, not sure how i feel about the message though. living daylights is
**** intense!! awesome gravity in the 1st set. hlh and scheme owned 2nd set. and she was isn\'t really a song i would expect the breakfast to cover, but i enjoyed it a lot. i would rather hear other talking heads songs being covered, but i\'ll take it. time of the season was cool too-also unexpected. ser queeb encore!!
things got kind of weird in the second set when that strange bald man doll that looked like matt\'s evil twin made it on stage. :wah:
the energy of \'living daylights\' is so raw and intense. both versions so far have rocked the
**** out of everyone. wish i could\'ve continued the rest of the weekend, but it had to end with 2 solid back-to-back shows that will remain memorable for quite some time to come. def. worth the drive home in the snow.
this was my first chris show and it definitely did not disappoint. this was also the first time hearing a lot of the new songs too. i really like the jam part in rush, it sounds like it should be played at red rocks or any other open air venue. the message was alright, nothing too impressive to me. and she was was great! please cover more talking heads. matt ostreicher has a little david byrne in him!
i thought first set was a little slow, but second set definitely picked up and ripped it up. hlh was sick, i\'m glad i was there for the bust-out. living daylights was pretty nasty as well. i will agree that matt\'s evil twin debut was pretty weird but i guess it was a good intro to living daylights. scheme was great as usual, and the fact that they covered time of the season was the
****!!! i got so excited when i peeped that on the setlist. thanks for a good time last night. and thanks mel for the ride and the pizza and rolls!!
I\'d say that Hard Luck Harry was the musical highlight of the night, and I will second the good size dance crowd that was going.
Also, I thought it was interesting that they (the venue) turned on the "house lights" during bequebous as a "please leave now singal"
great show in the snow.
great time, as per usual. The \'duel\' between tim & matt was surreal & lots of fun! Tonight\'s show at Rev Hall will be insane
oh yah, that "energy finger pointing communication
****" shows they\'re still just having fun
Boo for Talking Heads, Yay for Zombies...
All in all it looks like a scorcher.. Cant wait to hear it!
If Matt weren\'t in The Breakfast, I could see him as a member of the blue man group.
