The Mass Pike (I-90) is completely closed in both directions from Rt 9 in Framingham to I-290 near Worcester (between the X\'s). A hazmat truck rolled ove rthis morning. Some cars have been trapped all day and all of the surrounding roads are totally f-ed due to spillover traffic. The eastbound traffic is currently backed up over 25 miles beyond I-84 (exit 9).
What to do:
1. If you\'re coming from CT, get off 84 as far south as possible. The traffic may by stemming down 84. Do NOT get on I-90 for ANY REASON!!
2. If you\'re coming from Boston or from the north, you can get on the Pike to go westbound only as long as you get on west of 290. 3. Check boston.com or WBZ AM 1030 for more updates.

No! The eastbound traffic is all the way back as far west as beyond I-84. Southbridge is circled on the map. If you\'re going to the show from Amherst you don\'t need to go to Worcester.
they say they are going to try and have it cleared up for rush hour, so i\'m thinking it should be fine for tonight

From Boston or NH, it sounds like the best thing to do is 2W to 190S which becomes 290S then 90W. I think they\'re letting people on westbound only at 290. Bear in mind this adds about 25 miles to the distance and a lot of other cars might be doing the same thing.

hahah....my mistake, its not worcester but its a exit that i equate with worcester because its central mass.... shows how much i know about the state i\'ve lived in all my life! anyway i did alternate route that avoids I90 so i think i\'ll be ok. I just hope it doesn\'t take too much longer than the pike would.
Yay! I\'m so excited about tonight\'s show and psyched to be back in touch with fello Breakfast fans.
