Easy there wise guy......Posativity begets better results.....I learned that from Shine Palmieri.
This should be a great night. We are playing with the band that played before us at the Dancing Wu Li Festival last June.
All I have to say is thank god we aint at The Coda and let stuff this place people!!!!!
.net says The Brew are opening- have heard only g00d things about these guys...massholes i think
Awesome, I will be attending this show. It has been a while since they have been at the Mercury.
With so many larger venues to choose from in New York City, why do these artists venture down to the East Village to play this modest club? "First off, the owners wanted to design the space around musicians\' needs, so they made the stage bigger (30 feet by 10 feet) than someone else might for a room this size (30 feet by 40 feet). Conventional wisdom says "The smaller the stage, the more room for paying customers." But that\'s not the way they were thinking.
It sounds like this space will be easy to fill up w/ WPOAC\'s
I hate NYC also, unfortunately it\'s the place to be.
I probably won\'t make this... I never go to NYC... but it looks like a good time.
If the Brew is opening that is great... They played my friends\' wedding a few months ago and I thought they were very good. A bit too Phishy at times perhaps, but talented fellows.
Just a little more than two weeks to go. I have put some flyers in the local hipster coffee shop. This is on the lower east side so hopefully we can drum up some business outside of the breakfast regulars.

Past the long bar, the cozy East Village hangout opens into an intimate performance space. It?s a spare, understated room with brick walls, great sight lines, a magnificent sound system
