I know it\'s awhile away, but those who come out for this show should come by and pre-game at my place. I\'m two blocks from the Blue-line which transfers to the Red, ultimately bringing us to Kinetic\'s front door. I\'d actually like to get a decent \'party-like\' atmosphere before this one. My place is wonderful, especially if the weather is decent-- roof-top deck staring at the skyline.
Also, I\'m at a great location for those who haven\'t hit up Chicago before. It\'s considered Bucktown/Wicker Park, tons of heady bars, venues, thrift stores, etc.
Can anyone tell... I\'M PUMPED FOR THE BREAKFAST ON A FRIDAY NIGHT IN CHICAGO! Come one, come all.
i\'m going to try to make it to this show one way or another. last time was fun for a thursday night, so friday should be out of control. the hue opening again is also a huge plus because they should bring in some heads.
"plus they have Fat Tire at this venue! that alone almost made driving all night and then all day to get there worth it.
hard luck harry" jam - kinetic playground 9/27/07:
We\'ve got Fat Tire at most bars in Chicago now (often on tap too).. is it still elusive out East?
Anyways, you should definitely come man. I agree The Hue opening on a Friday night should help the crowd situation a ton. This show should be balls to the wall. I mean, ****, they could rip it up until 3-4am at this place.
I\'ll keep saying it, pre-game at Cheesecake\'s in Chicago for those interested.
I\'m going to check and see if anyone is playing the Aragon that night. Their front doors literally look at each other. Could help like it usually does for bands pulling similar crowds.
It\'s been at least a year since New Belgium jumped the mighty Mississippi. If you come out, or I guess if you drive out, you should stock up at a grocery store before heading back.
Actually now thinking about it, I remember Tim had some banter on 9/27about his Fat Tire excitement.
That HLH is the highlight of that show. I forget where but around 10+ the jam gets dirty, Timmy ON FIRE.
No band scheduled at the Aragon. Optimism=Easy access parking.
