:banflip: Can\'t wait!!!!!
This is my Bro\'s BDAY weekend and he\'s never seen the guys live... We may have to make a weekend out of it.
sweet. I hope you guys got an Iron Horse date coming up soon (even though that club sucks) because lots of people around here say they\'ll def check them out next time they hit up Iron Horse.
and its about time I get these dudes off their asses and out to a Breakfast show. Once they see them at Iron Horse I\'m sure a couple of them will be full time travellers
I\'d like to see the Breakfast play the next step-up in Northampton b/c they practically sold-out the place last time, although, a sold-out Iron Horse would be ill.
I\'m pretty sure they sold it out when they played there after they stopped playing Pearl St. Now I would LOVE to see a show there again

Well, in Northampton there are 2 "steps up" from Iron Horse.
1 is the Calvin, and that would suck. Tix there are like 30 bux at least no matter who it is.
2 is Pearl St. Ballroom (aka upstairs). This is where Breakfast *should* be playing, it\'s a great party atmosphere with a big dance area and a couple bars. And this venue isn\'t really expensive either, depends on the act.
I\'ve only seen PB/Breakfast play Pearl St clubroom (downstairs, shitty part) and Iron Horse. Iron Horse is usually for adult-alternative bands and
**** where people don\'t even bother standing up for the show.
I would still rather see them at Pearl St downstairs (never seen the upstairs) than at the Iron Horse, I know it\'s a big P.I.T.A. for the guys too, cause they have to get there stupid early and load in before the early show.
The Calvin is also a theatre though, more for bigger acts.....
one day though......
Pearl St. upstairs is about = to Premier Music Hall, or something like that... ie., bigger and nicer than most of the places Breakfast plays, but not totally out of reach at the moment or in the near future.
Going back to Pearl St. downstairs would def been seen as a step backwards by almost anybody in the Northampton area. See, Calvin, Iron Horse, and Pearl St. are all owned by the same dude, and Pearl St. downstairs is always where he sticks his acts with the least draw on a particular night. Pearl St. upstairs, on the other hand, is at least as popular as Iron Horse, but better suited to bands that don\'t put you to sleep.
