yeah, i\'ve heard lots of good stuff about this place, but i have heard that there are some issues with sound in spots. but it is a gorgeous venue! i\'ll see if i can get some more .info from my buddy we\'re gonna stay with. he\'s been a coupleafew times, but i haven\'t managed to make it there yet....

i\'ve never been to rams head but have heard good things about the place. va beach is pretty far todd..3.5-4 hours south of me. would be a long drive from ct (but worth it!)
^^^It\'s a rough 8 hrs from CT, and we did a show once at Phil\'s Grill and then drove back up after the fact that was brutal....
wow, pretty sick looking venue
Ram\'s Head is one of the cooler venues I\'ve ever been too. It\'s Big, they keep it nice and cool, every seat in the house is good, there are bars all over the place with big screens that show what is happening onstage. Security ain\'t that bad, they\'re a little duechy at the doors but we were able to smoke inside during the biscuits show. No barrier between stage and audience, so its like a big intimate place. Sound Quality is fantastic too. You guys saw the photos, it is that killer

If I can get a ride with someone (being free to leave anytime after 2pm saturday), Then I will be there. I\'ll have at least one video camera, I request any of you others who have one and are going to please bring also. I\'ve got enough tape for a few cameras for both breakfast and p/o.

Hey Paul, What flavour of tape do you have? About a month and a half ago I bought a Sony TRV280. If I use Hi8 tape I can record an hour of digital video per tape. I used it at Daniel Street (just on a tripod by the soundboard) and was really surprised at how good it came out!!! I could bring it Saturday if you want. BUT, I will not be operating it!!! I could put it on my tripod somewhere safe though. This place looks awesome and I plan on taking in the neighborhood of 500-600 still shots.
Btw- Dave....I am 98% sure I want to hitch a ride with you. Just did some math and it looks like if there are 6 of us it\'s going to be at least $20 a piece in gas alone!!!! :wah: (I HATE OILY TOWELHEADS!!!!)
