There is a Holiday Inn within a 4-5 minute walk. Stayed there for new years last year. Just watch out for those pesky smoke detectors

how is new haven? i heard on howard stern they have a strip club(s) there? new haven or bridgeport, which one has the bad rep?

New Haven is a small college city with a lot of character, IMHO.....
