  ^In Springfield, IL a horseshoe is regional dialect for a) a breakfast of an open face biscuit piled high w/ eggs, your choice of meat, shoestring homefries and topped by a cheese sause or b) a dinner of an  open faced texas toast topped by a burger, french fries and heart stopping cheese sauce.
