If it was EC I\'d be there......
If it was EC I\'d be there......
:that: And...if they were starting at 11pm
i think we would all prefer two sets at the EC.
Hopefully this will be some more exposure for them though.
EC is always a blast and a sick show but it also pretty much the same crowd everytime.
^^there was def a good CT showing last time....
im pretty sure me and lexington will be attending.... what time is breakfast starting?
check the calendar, bro - 5 pm... seems like an early night (or, possible late night? perhaps an EC show?... guess I could dream \'bout it, anyways :sigh: )
We are going to June 9th and when I realized that Utica by way of Illadelphia is almost 10 hours, 45 minutes of Breakfast just ain\'t worth it, especially for Johns Brown Body who I have never heard. 45 minutes for an opening with moe. is most logical.
jbb is kinda generic but pretty good if that makes sense
yo john browns body is the
****!!!! i don\'t know iif y\'all are biased by underexposure but jbb gots the
**** rythms!!!
- lexington
not dredmunky
now dredmonkey- yes jbb is always good time, in my opinion way better than moe, but then again who isn\'t? and yes if it was closer we would all go, but we could say that for any show for any band, so statement kinda goes nowhere
but all good times and all good rhythms
^^^what\'s the point of comparing JBB, a REGGAE band with moe., who obviously doesn\'t play reggae... apples and oranges.. I\'m stoked for this- seeing this band play in front of festie sized crowds is fuckin unreal.. spiritual, holmes....and who cares about the times, it\'s at a brewery!! caramel porter\'s biznatch...

my .o2
merge->dub jam->phaddy
and for the record I\'ve seen JBB LOTS of times at festies...
like I said they are pretty cool if you like that type of music which I do.
It just sounds like reggae to me....nothing too special or stand outish imo.
It\'s good for busting some mellow flowy dance moves, smokin some weed or drinkin a dank brews to.....but dont expect to have your face ownedby them.
"this band play in front of festie sized crowds is fuckin unreal"- in reference to PB of course... prolly can\'t even stay for John Brown\'s, have work on Sunday @ 6:30 in da morn...
yea especially when the whole crowd is ROCKING OUT
what happens if it rains?
and whats up with the after show zee?
Is the breakfast first or second?
I dont see anything on jambase
i dont know if any of you saw this but the bass player of JBB just passed away today from cancer. is this show still going to happen?
JBB BASSIST PASSES
From http://www.johnbrownsbody.com:
Scott Palmer
Our bass player Scott Palmer [John Brown\'s Body] passed away today at 12 noon. As you may know, Scott was diagnosed with cancer in January of this year. As the bass player for JBB since 2002, Scott was immediately a family member within JBB, blessing us with his great warmth, humor, charm, and of course monstrous bass playing. We are sad beyond words to have lost him today.
Condolences can be sent to Scott\'s family:
Mr. and Mrs. Vince Palmer
PO Box 148
Pultneyville N.Y. 14538
R.I.P. Scottie - we love you.
