there are times when such thuings need to be sucked up.
talking about being tired? c\'mon, dude. when they actually play over 100 shows touring ACROSS the country, then we can talk about tired.
no offense but get your head out of your ass, you go on a nation tour and tell me it\'s not tiring, you work regular hours while at home, and thn going and playing a weekend of shows, these guys are not super heroes, this is not the ony thing they do, they are regular people no kryptonite here........
^^^^ Timmy P is no ordinary human being he\'s an Alien
mandler, you know what i am talking about. no reason for the high and mighty "get your head out of your ass" statement.
I just saw the Phix is hosting a after Umphrey\'s party on the boat the week before.... good chance to promote a little, anyone gonna be around there for that......
i understand about uac. they played for aprox. 2 hours and i think they did the best they could, they had no obligation to play all night. but you cant say that they ONLY time they play 1 set is for time constraints.

not trying to be high and mighty but I think sometimes people expect to much from these guys, yes they are great musicians, yes they play incredible music, but sometimes people think they are superman or something, people get tired you can\'t say there\'s no excuse for it........
ps: sorry for the head/ass statement, probably outta line, no offense meant, your a good guy colin, sometimes I go to far when trying to get a point across.....

^^fair enough....
can\'t wait for this
****. better get my tix/hotey reservations soon.
they better rage it harder than last year
No more cruises for this guy.
have fun everybody
well the first 1 was pretty fun. The last 1 i did for DBB a few weeks ago was oK but being on the boat for 3+ hours messsed me up. I guess I would call it sea legs but I kept feeling like i was losing my balance many hours later. Also there is this security guy who works all of them who is pretty much a dick (the rest of them seemed pretty chill). Kyle had a run in with him at DBB.
But the venue has just lost its luster for me.
Upon further review: Going to hit this up on the way to VA for BareFoot. Anyone know of a reasonable hotey south of the city towards Gore, VA??? Holly??? Jill??? Jason??? Bueller???
we\'ve got a comfy couch!
as for a hotel, you\'re only about an hour fifteen/thirty away from gore once you get past dc, and there\'s not much cheap between here and there until you get to winchester, which is about 15/20 from gore. a highway hotel north of baltimore will probably be your cheapest bet. besides crashing here, of course!
I can\'t wait for this. Last year was a lot of fun once the show got going. The view was great and the crowd was pumped. Not a huge crowd but high spirited.
kindm\'s, sorry to hear you won\'t be there. Security is definitely a
**** getting on the boat. The pocket-search/package-fondle is in full effect. Good money could be made running a bag-check at the dock.

Thanks for the offer and the info!! Unfortunately my back doesn\'t agree with couches too well. Plus Robyn would probably push me onto the floor. (I\'m gonna get it for that one!! :duck:) Time for a hotels.com search.
