hello all,

thought it\'d be nice to have a little preshow get together on saturday night before the show.. we\'re gonna be hitting up The Hangar in Amherst (one exit past the Iron Horse) before the show. some of you have prolly heard me rave about this place before - thanks to wolfman for getting me hooked! we call it \'the sally\'s of wings\', and for good reason too - best wings on earth! tons of different flavors, and a lot of other great food too (the nachos are pretty damn good)..

they also have many different beers on tap.. wolf can prolly name them all... and a nice wait staff to boot!

unfortunately, we can\'t make reservations, but we\'re gonna be getting there around 5:30-6:00, as they\'re usually busy on saturday nights.. those who are up for meeting up, let me know.

oh yeah, if you\'re from out of state, MAKE SURE you bring 2 forms of ID or they WILL NOT serve you. ron ran into this problem when we went before the RHCP show, and was pretty heated. don\'t let it happen to you.

I will be at the Hangar a little before 6.  it will be Lauren and I so count us in when they ask how many are in the party.  what are we planning on doing between Wings and the show 5 hours later?  I\'m sure we\'ll think of something.  

By the way, I\'m listening to PB in Butterfield 11-17-00 right now.  Such a good show.  I think I may be one of the few that has it on tape.  They play all the good PB songs plus a nasty Stash etc.  I\'m very excited for the show!

that\'s right, I forgot about all the Guiness Freddy drinks.  

You may not believe this when I say it, but I never went to the Hangar in 4 years at UMass, nor did I ever order Wings via delivery.  I guess there were always so many drunk kids that would order $50 wings platters most days of the week that I never needed to actually pay for them.  They were always around.  A few ambitious drunks would think they could eat 15 pounds of wings then I would come around mid-feast.  I swear I\'ve had Wings at least 50 times though, without ever contributing a cent.  I finally started buying them after I graduated on my visits back out there.

Are they still playing lots of covers in between original material?

I feel like I\'m back at UMass again, preparing for a Butterfield show or something (Baker Quad for Wolfman).  I will try to waste an hour on the job tomorrow to continue my postings.  I am ready to rock in the Valley again.  Long overdue.
