i just messaged the yachtclub myspace webmaster and they had this to tell me so far

so what do we need to know, research, who to call, etc, to find out if this show is still on.

I can help out w/ detours for the WI show from our DOT site, but not sure about Iowa. I sure hope this is still gonna happen w/ a little creative road travel....

Iowa DOT travel information

you can pick the route you want to take and see what the closures/detours are.

So if the band plays Indy and then heads to Iowa City, they would likely try and take W74 to W80 and get off the highway on south hwy 1, Right on Iowa st, Left on Linn St.

According to the map, there are no closures on 74 around Davenport to get to 80, no closures on 80, and no closures on 1.

As long as you don\'t go as far west as Hwy 6 (Riverside Dr. which is along the west side of the river)) you should be ok.
US 6 in both directions: Road closed to traffic.
Between State Route 1 East and State Route 1 West. The road is closed to traffic, because of flooding, consider using an alternate route.

Comment: Johnson County: U.S. 6 is closed from Burlington Street to IA 1 within the City of Iowa City.
