i don\'t think a house rental is a bad idea and i don\'t think we would trash it THAT bad i would do it but my credit card has a $700 limit and it\'s maxed out......
not sure how it works on the island, but alot of house rentals do not require a credit card deposit. a bunch will let you rent the place with a cashier\'s check and a security deposit (usually around $500 or so), so even if the place gets trashed, you, as a group, are out 500 and no one needs to worry about their credit

I\'m booked.... south beach is lovely that part of the year..... i was also thinking of just renting a van for the couple days and sleep whatever i\'m gonna sleep in there.... a ride and hotel all in one or maybe a mobile home......... :chin:

pretty good in my book, i can\'t even get approved for one of those guaranteed approval cards that start with a $250 limit with only $50 in available credit after all the fees they charge you just to start it.
chances are i have the worst credit on .info, not counting the youngins who haven\'t had the chance to establish/ruin theirs yet. any credit counselors out there wanna help a brother out?

my taxes have been done since 2 days prior to 1/31. I can do it!
a) I can\'t pay off my debt because they stopped sending me letters and calling, so when I do/did have the money (ie - a month or two ago) to start paying I can\'t pay them because they don\'t ask anymore. b) it\'s more debt than I can pay in one shot (15k or so, i think). c) Spacey are you an accountant? I do need my taxes done since my father can\'t figure them out this year because of the 1099 I got from FedEx (which has no taxes taken out, but I have a bunch of gas receipts to write off).

So, the only house I\'ve found so far that is available is $3500/ week plus $500 security deposit. We would have to rent it for a whole week Sunday to Sunday. 3 queen beds but looks like plenty of room for air mattresses as well. If 8-10 people were definitely in it wouldn\'t be a far fetched idea......
Heard of a site called BlockIslandrentals.com, I believe that has listings of all rental properties.
