for anyone who hasn\'t been on the island before and is thinking about going...
unless you have your heart set on off-roading or something, you really don\'t need a car there. if you have a bike, [-]bring it [/-] ride it there. i think it costs a lot of money to bring a car and the island is so small it\'s really not worth it.

^ if you dont bring your car over on the ferry do they have free lots where you can park your car while youre on the island or is that going to cost money as well?
i think it costs like $20 or something to park in the lot. not totally sure. i would think that if you don\'t park your car in the lot (ie try to find a spot nearby) you should be really careful because you will prob get towed.
just park in the lot at the end of the road, you\'ll see people flagging you in, they\'re not trying to rip you off $20 for the whole weekend. it\'s a safe lot.

Darn, I really want to tfind a way to bike down there. I do adventures like this all the time. I hope to find a bike-safe route to get there.
