we\'ve actually picked the place. its an environmental education center (they bring inner city kids out to the woods and show/teach them things and stuff, from how ecology works to how to build a barn starting with chopping down the trees) out in the mountanis of western maryland (the next mountain range over from camp david, actually) its a cool-ass site and we\'ve got some crazy fun ideas to keep it lively! one of our biggest problems right now is figuring out music. we know what we\'d like, but will the parents, grandparents, aunt and uncle be able to deal.... our single favorite idea right now is melvin sparks and timmy (ala va beach this summer), but that\'s just a pipe dream as of now. luckily we have til may of 08 to figure it out! :lol: -

Ok, the final band of the weekend I have mixed feeling about. Midnight Spaghetti & Chocolate G-Strings are one of the oddest bands I have ever seen take the stage. They are very funky and a good band. But the lead singer was another one of those white boy funk rappers. I looked at Todd and Robyn at one point and said something along the lines of "I kinda just want to hit him and I don\'t know why" As FreeSpirit mentioned earlier they had alot of costumes and stage antics. Too me it just seemed like they were trying to hard, if you can play good music just do it, enough with the stage shenanigans, I would rather see a good light show then see the lead singer act like a bafoon for 2 1/2 hrs. But as I said the band was good. We then with Todd and Robyn dragging me along took a midnight hike up what was eventually named stumble hill, came back down and heard a band playing (it was prob 4:30 at this point) went to check it out and Midnight Spaghetti & Chocolate G-Strings had moved their set up from the main stage to a little tent in the camping area and was still playing. I almost prefered them in this scenario because they dropped all the antics, no get ups, just tunes. There were free balloons going around and everyone was getting down. This went on until I went to bed around 7 or 8, and they were still playing.
