The "?" was a Sabbath song that Chris sang. I have no idea what it was called but it was really great. A friend of mine played it for me like 10 years ago cuz he couldn\'t get over the fact that a metal song had a 5 min or so jazz section in the middle of it.
It was pretty obvious they weren\'t fuckin\' around once Frankly started. The fact that they were passing a bottle of Captain\'s around should\'ve been a hint that
**** was gonna get crazy. Psygn was great with a flawless segue back into Frankly. They were playing as one from the very beginning and as one would guess HLH was pretty incredible. Very happy to hear Inner Glimpse. However, when I thought it couldn\'t get any better than HLH, they absolutely killed Rush, it was by far the best one I\'ve seen and def had everyone looking at each other shaking their heads and laughing when it was over, especially amongst the largest representation of Taints that I\'ve seen in quite some time.
The way Garcian came out of Beef Barley was a thing of beauty. So was the they way Metropolis came out of Garcian. That Sabbath song came out of Metropolis so perfectly that it didn\'t even matter that like 90% of us had no clue what it was, and it fit well and made for a great way to slip back into Garcian. The ending of Metropolis was as hard hitting and intense as any I\'ve seen, what a peak! I can\'t even tell you the last time I saw Mooboo\'s. It never disappoints. So good, especially once it got bouncy and actually danceable as opposed to how it normally just grabs you and leaves you only able to stand there with your head back and eyes closed. Rush had that effect too. Liz Reed was perfect and it showed the newcomers and and people who probably just dropped by cuz they had nothing else to do last night exactly what the
**** was goin\' on. The show could\'ve ended right there but a wacky alcohol-fueled Silver Bullet with a bizarre jam in the middle with Stoops and Jordan playing together and changing each other\'s keyboard effects and sounds and Tim and Chris switching instruments looked like they were just lettin\' loose and havin\' a great time.
Wild Pack was such an appropriate encore. What a show! Great to see everyone, especially the ones who came from pretty far away. I really wish they\'d pick a place and play there every week. Last night was soooo great.
