let me just go on record and say that the entire Fonghoulish Freakout will be a complete waste and failure if matt or chris doesn\'t dress up their computer as R2-D2.
From Jambands.com:
Star Wars for Breakfast
The Breakfast (winners of the 2004 Jammy Award for New Groove) has announced the theme for its 7th annual Fonghoulish Freakout. The theme will be Star Wars, a follow up to last year?s Big Lebowski night. The band pledges to introduce some new original compositions as well as some material from the Star Wars films (although beyond the ?Cantina Song? and John Williams\' ?Theme? one wonders where they will go with it). The event will take place on Saturday October 29 at the Webster Theater in Hartford. The venue will be decorated for the occasion and concertgoers are encouraged to do the same.
So does anyone know if this pledge of introducing new original compositions mean we are getting more new songs than the recent 2 ? That would be SER as hell!

7 new tunes to celebrate FF7.
discuss.
there could be more.
think about it.
last year there were 5 first time played\'s.
granted, they were all covers, but take another \'themed\' freakout, and add to it this new pledge, and i\'d say there will be at least 7 new tunes..
Since I am a gambling man, I am going to say we will get at least 1 new composition and of course all the covers that have some sort of star wars tie in.
ohh...the covers, i never thought about that. I was thinking 7 new originals
who\'s making my gooballs for this show?

well the pledge itself promises new original
s so.....
we shall see.
as much as I look forward to hearing these new tunes, I (just my opinion) would rather hear them on cd first before seeing them live. I like knowing the songs when I\'m at a show, but i guess the only way to know them is to hear them live, so it\'s a strange opinion I have looking at it from both ways....make any sense???
i prefer to be at first played\'s they make my mind have fun
