was hoping for the knit, but looks like we got another LD show...
Damn, got to be a better venue in they can play in NYC, LD=weak.
:stoned: My birthday show. They could play on tin cans in an alley and I would be content :stoned:
I Like The Lions Den.
I Dont See Anything Wrong With Them Playing This Room, until They Bump Up The Nyc Crowd A Bit.
Last Time Wasnt Exactly Stuffed..
the sound nazi.
nuff said.
shes actually not that bad once you crack through her tough as nails shell....
i think she got the hots for dobz.for obvious reasons..
Fred,
I thought the last LD show was actually rather well attended. Compared to the show a few weeks before in Saratoga and especially compared to the Col. Bruce and the Code Talkers who were at LD the week befroe the breakfast.
I am not a fan of the lions den for a few reasons. They charge WAY too much for shitty beer and parking around there sucks BALLS!!!!!!!!!.
I really wish they would have got booked in th Tap room at the Knitting factory. That would be sweet
Mike,sweet Avatar...
Nyc Is Always Expensive.
Thats The Main Downfall Of Nyc.
But,im Sure The Crew Will Be There..
last time at the LD just left a bad taste in my mouth.. the sound nazi, the long room, the LATE start (12:45 - oof!), and i think attendance definitely could have been better..
but i\'ll still be there on 6/3 regardless..
The late start last time definitely put a damper on attendance. A lot of the people that went for (1 out of 3!) opening bands were excited and impressed by the Breakfast but bailed after a half hour because of how late it was. Cutting it down to two openers would give the Breakfast an earlier start and an opportunity to do a longer show. Of course we all know this, who we need to be telling is the Lions Den mgmt.
How much did the band have to deal with the sound nazi (No monitors for you!)?

looks like we have something in common...

NO
****!!! That\'s great, too bad yours was 13 years too late
i was refering to them playing in an alley on tin cans
last lions den show was sick except for the overly coked out kids jumping all over everyone, actually it was kinda funny, ill shut up now
Definitely need a reasonable start time.
