good things for me is still :vomit:
but who is he anyway?
Matt is from Fairfield and has played with many groups, including Spyro Gyra and Chick Corea. He is a definite comedian. His antics tonight were hilarious to say the least! VERY talented.

Good Things = A GREAT thing
but hey, to each their own.
Best executed Good Things to date......
So bummed I missed this. Steve feels just the way I do about this tune, so I\'m psyched to hear a recording of it.
Upon relisten, I will say it is probably the best \'Good Things\' to date. I too love this song and think it is more of this that the Breakfast need to throw in to their repitoire so they could bring even more dynamics to their live show. I am waiting for the Tim acoustic songs ala Bobby Cha(Weir)..bring a new dimension to the music.
Especially in their longer sets, it sometimes gets a little stale when it is balls-to-wall speed. Minimalism can be just as face-melting as shredding. Pretty solid show, I am still biased by the awesomeness that was Daniel St and River ST. from the weekend before...I would include the Chameleon show 2nd set...but alas only Gencs and a couple others would know why;)
hot damn, too bad i missed this one... looks nice
i understand the webster grumblings, i feel like that place would do better with different management.... :idunno:
well I\'m usually behind on breakfast tune evolution, so maybe i should have listened all the way thru to GThings instead of peacing outside for this one

that\'s the problem is people hear the first few notes of a slow tune (good things or L&TG) and just bounce right off the cuff, stick around for the ballads THEY\'RE GOOD!
LOOnoobzer!!!!
:fruitsex: NOOBfoLife!
at least you know puppetry when you hear it :sarcasm:
i just listened to this show yesterday for the first time. while the playing was pretty decent, the freakin\' sound is worse than i, personally, will bother with listening to again. and the comments that the music becomes too busy with the key\'s guy are right on, in that there\'s so much boomy echoing going on that things just get mushed and lost. i hope the webster pays a bunch and i hope they book the b\'fast as much as humanly possible if that is the case. but of all the places i\'ve ever seen a band (or heard discs of a band from) i can honestly say its the worst. can someone point me in the direction of the bisco shows that were there that supposedly sound good? i\'d love to hear it with a full room, but they have the wrong pa for the room and no baffling on concrete walls, so i can\'t imagine it ever sounds better than crap.
I saw Ween there in a full house and the sound was just as bad. Webster sucks and thus we shall never return.
fair enough. i just had heard about it sounding better full, but after my experience there, i truly can\'t see it.... but again, if they pay well, i hope the breakfast plays there every week.
[evil]well, more like, \'rehearses\' there every week....[/evil]
