i will spew but a few thoughts before bed...
as joe said, matt needs to be in the breakfast. dude put me in a place and a half during buquebus.. i was pretty much glowing the entire time.
i don\'t give a
**** about length, that was the best post-jordan buquebus i\'ve heard. from the opening notes, i knew it was gonna be something special with the keys, and was it ever! :jawdrop:
upstate did a helluva job with the new/borrowed toys.
lit was something to be reckoned with.
tribal > beef > tribal was incredible.
can\'t even remember the last time i\'ve seen psygn.
honestly, blows away any breakfast show i\'ve seen in the last 6-12 months. fantastic.
so whats the deal with the keyboardist? have they been jammin with him or just a one-off?
God only knows what he could\'ve done if his Korg worked. I was floored. He added very much needed class and contributed tremendous energy and enthusiasm. how he was able to shape a Buquebus into a monster with just a Nord Rhodes setting is beyond me. If this band TRULY wants to succeed, then Matt needs to join.

OK who is posting under Dave\'s name? Come On \'fess up
Sounds intriguing for sure if Dave is this jazzed.
so whats the deal with the keyboardist? have they been jammin with him or just a one-off?
I\'m pretty sure he has been jammin\' w/ Adrian in that jazz thingy on Mondays.
Oh, come on! Everyone knows Dave is one of the least excited trio non-fans going!

But yes, Queeb was very, very good!!! Sorry to have missed the Tribal > Beef > Tribal though!!
this show preetty much owned my face, however, it was not the best trio show i have seen. second set was killer. tribal, beef, queeb... the night went by too quickly. thanks timmy taint for the ride. i can\'t believe i ate mcdonald\'s on the way home tonight...gross! goodnight people.

:thumbsup:I completely agree! I\'m so glad I decided to go at the last minute - it was def worth it. Matt did an amazing job on Queeb, and he made me realize how much I missed the keys. I\'d love to see Matt join the band, or at least continue to sit-in often! :awwyeah:
Good show! i thought the sit in was decent for a first time..... maybe i\'m just getting used to the 3 guys but it seemed a little busy but who am i to talk about music i just go to shows. the Cross Roads sit in was really good to, that kid brought some energy to the end of the night and then to end with a Psygn..... great ending to a real good night. Highlight for me..... See the Light, god i love that tune. Overall a real good night, i hope to see what else Matt can do with these guys, heres to hoping for some more collaborations.
another random thought:
when matt first got on stage, the first thing that ran through my head was, "i wonder what cover they\'re gonna play". it\'s only natural, since most breakfast sit-ins are usually covers, or, "here\'s the chords for the vermont song - take a nice long solo". but then queeb starts up, and i realize 5 seconds in that he *knows* the tune! brought me back to phil\'s may fly appearance in \'05.
oh, and according to adrian, he learned queeb in a day!
**** me. that looks like i shouldve made the last minute drive like i almost did. oh well. might make it to lancaster tonight. but will def be at the good ol River STreet on sat night!
:bantom:
 i\'m listening to last night\'s queeb right now, and ^^^that guy^^^ is getting down to it!
**** **** **** why did i miss that show? !
because your lame like the rest of the people who didn\'t show up......
<<<< being sarcastic..... or am i
