i enjoyed hearing golgi at the stone church, but didn\'t realize that it was going to be a regular cover in rotation. a lot of people will put the breakfast into the same category of music as phish and/or compare them, so i don\'t think it\'s really the best thing to play golgi too often (even if it does sound great when they do).

If it was this time last year yeah but I really don\'t think you have to worry about that anymore.

Yeah well maybe people will chill the hell out with me. All I did was answer a question for Walsh and Igz came in and started **** so as per usual off we went. As for the attendance sarcasm well yeah ok I\'ll let it go.

I don\'t know, you just bring the worst out in me. hehehehe.....

don\'t take it personally, i generally laugh all the while.

Yeah same here that\'s why the **** drags on so much. Then laggards jump in and the circle starts all over.

it is. and even though i dislike Rust, it got very Zappa towards the end, and i was definitely loving it.

that said, overall, i just wasn\'t feeling it last night. sound (mainly vocals) was pretty shitty throughout the night, lack of attendance, supreme lateness and DST.. bah.. thursday was definitely better.

Wow that girl screaming during Eschers is more annoying than Fran Drescher....
Oh and without a doubt Escher\'s 3+4 is the best piece of music debuted by this band since Doughboy.  PLEASE continue to write complex, progressive songs (not that Doughboy is progressive, it\'s just of my jazz rock tasting). THIS is what you\'re FLAWLESS at.  This is the main reason why I\'ll never be able to turn my back on this band...

THANK YOU DAVE for getting this recording on the archive.

I went outside for the end of the first set so i didnt see the new eschers...too hot, phish sucks, and i got really bored...but  doughboys the ****, and they never **** play it at the shows i go to anymore!  HLH was ill, havent seen it i n a long time.  plenty of stretching room during the second set, i guess overall not the best nyc show ive seen, but then again i havent seen a good one down here in a while, nice seeing all yo ukids.

IMNSHO, funk does NOT belong in Eschers\'s. Maybe I need more listens, but I do not think I will change my mind about this.

Overalll, a good show.  I had a lot of fun in the city "last night" (yup, another sick day today!)  There weren\'t many people during second set (~50), but I checked out Benevento downstairs at the Knit, & there were even less people there (only abt 20-30).  Highlight for me was L&TG>OE... Animal did an awesome job during the segue!
