wow. i would have loved to see that first set.
all i gotta say is anyone in new england who\'s on this board but doesn\'t go to tonight\'s show is stupid!
looks i didn\'t even know just how prophetic those words would be, huh?! damn....
first set was very very cool. 2nd set- KILLER. wow, love lake, psygn- lots of energy. TRICKY WAYS SHOULD BE PLAYED IN THIS SLOW VERSION EVERYTIME!!! i really didnt like it before until last night\'s swanky, groovy version. makes the song more sexy and not lame. encore: RON SPEARS KILLED IT!! many thanks to abby for driving!
<< hates the breakfast now.
the 2nd fft was " get your hands off me, ya damn dirty ape," if that even was a fft. ser line from planet of the apes.
Seeing Ron on guitar last night was killer -- he actually smiled, & looked like he was enjoying it!

Set I was nice, since I\'ve never actually heard the first album (ok, I\'m a newb). Set II was full of energy & the encore?! Pure craziness!!! The crowd was thin during the opener, maybe 4-5 people in the place. I felt bad cuz they\'re a really talented band. Of course, the minute the Breakfast set up & started playing, many more people arrived. The whole night was worth the drive.
blah. no joke I was listening to the PB album in the FedEx Pimpmobile, and was thinking of asking one of them (whoever I saw first) to play it in order at one of the next shows (one that I would be attending anyway). And the next day FFT from 8/12/06 came on and I had the thought of how much I actually enjoy the song and asking for that instead since it\'d be more likely than a full album request. all this this week too.
moral of the story, I am a loser.
can someone verify whether Episode 1 (Happy) was played or not?
Episode 1 was definitely played. I\'m from RI and I play at the century lounge all the time, its closing down pretty soon. The providence music scene is going down the tubes. I hope these guys continue to play here in the future.
A special mention needs to be called out for Bonzo who showed up in an oil truck just after 10:00 last night. Hitchhiked for 7.5 hours to the show.

From what I recall, PVD is big on the guido, sleaze-infested hip hop nights.

From NH or Hartford? Probably would have been quicker to bike to Providence from Hartford.
How many miles/hours has that guy logged hitchhiking to Breakfast events?
call it sour grapes, but i\'m really not too upset about missing this show (although the second set looks pretty neat)
let me know when they cover DEUCE in its entirety...it would be THE HEAT
