very very very good show. gypsy girl was good to hear because it was a rare bust-out, but now there\'s ZERO reason not to play kote!!

i think this was my first time hearing the \'new\' love lake. liked it. i\'ve praised caitlin several times before on here, but i just can\'t say enough good things.. seeing/hearing her play WPOA was incredible. can\'t wait to see her sit in on eppy 3 one day. ;)

wish ron\'s vocal mic was on/up at the beginning of helter skelter. took away from what was otherwise a great debut.

a good handful of the already weak crowd was lost at setbreak, though i have to admit, there were more people there than i thought would be.. don\'t know an official count, but i\'d have to say 250 *tops*..

the trilogy was fierce. mooboo\'s sounded great, and i just heart eppy 1 4 EVR. eppy 3 was eppy 3. tim\'s vocals made the song..

"it\'s too bad jordan\'s sitting in right now, or we coulda got a jump on traffic" - me to pitchie when L.A. Woman started.. gotta be one of my most \'meh\' breakfast covers, but that was put aside last night with jordo up there. definitely got a little emotional during his first solo.. really made me miss him with the band, and made me wish for a chase or a may fly.. but it was great. dobs shoulda sat in on sound for that one though. :)

all in all, a really fun night. great to see everyone who made it. merry xmas all!

This was an excellent show with an highly unique setlist that featured several tunes I haven\'t heard since the band became a trio.

Great rocking start leads to Gypsy Girl, which I hope goes back into seclusion, although I commend Tim for revising the lyrics (no, you will NOT wear my beads) and making a respectable go of its un-retirement. Still, I agree with Dave that if this song is back, there\'s no excuse for the clearly superior Kote to not return. Caitlin was tremendous. Outstanding confidence and presence for anyone, let alone a teenager. And you just can\'t argue with Helter Skelter.

Of course, it was great to hear to the episode trio from the trio for the first time, though I still have a ways to go to get on board with ep 3. My highlight of the show was actually Spunk. I was wearing down a hair, but that completely revitalized me. Personally, I could care less about L.A. Woman, and though EVERYONE would have LOVED to hear Sequoia sit in on a Breakfast tune, him just being up there was the perfect close to a spectacular night.

Easily the best of the four trio shows I\'ve seen.

I have always been a big fan of Gypsy Girl, though I can\'t imagine it without the long, beautiful piano jam in the middle.  I\'m hoping a good recording will eliminate the doubt.

As for Kote, if you haven\'t heard it before, look back at 2001 recordings at check it out.  I\'m officially on the \'Kote in 2007\' campaign bandwagon!
