Very nice 1 setter! I would have loved that show I\'m sure.... a full Etcher\'s Etching (none of that splittin it up sillyness) ,, Psygn, Surreal Radio, Eppy 3 ,.. word

Eppy 3 is growing on me quite a bit lately, I absolutely love the few minutes of it right before the "blues break"
Put the pointed pencil in the pepper-po and take a little sniff of the things below. :sadban:

anyways, i would go up to the 12 galaxies show (its on my 21st bday!) but i have school on wednesday. alas, such a subdued life i lead.

If you would have made it down to the show last night, you would have been the 21st person there. Got there just in time to catch the Breakfast play a nice long set. I had never seen them before and walked away fairly impressed. But DAMN, it was barren in there.

More like overflowing with hipsters in S.F., though a lot of people do go to see good music.

There was definitely plenty of pot smoking in the club, among the 40 or so that were there at the highest point.

Basically The Mission (area of S.F. were the band played last night) was very quiet, which is normal during the early week.  Closer to the weekend, it is hopping with nightlife activities.

Like I said to Steve: "This band is much different than the one I heard last spring, and they seem to be more adventurous."

Tim\'s voice is completely different now.  I really do miss Sequoia\'s grooves on the stage.  However, I think the band\'s new incarnation is equally exciting, and more willing to try to new things.  Tim\'s dueling roles also changes the momentum of the show, as he no longer shreds from start to finish.  I think it gives me more appreciation of his shining guitar moments when he switches back over from the keys/synth.  Like I pointed out to a friend of mine from work who was there: for such an impressive performance on the keys/synth, Tim is quite new to them both.

Despite the light crowd, there were definitely some ownage moments last night.  Funk jam out of Intension was "sick".

Can\'t wait for tonight.

The band is staying in a sketchy part of town, and Adrian mentioned seeing a 1-legged transvestite hooker (gender illusionist I believe is the p.c. term now :banhair: )
