  besides, it was a terrible weekend for a show in the midwest. The biggest festival in the midwest was happening in MN. Where do you think everyone in that locale will be? Better luck next time.

• forget the fact there was only 8 people there.  and the fact some people drove 6 hours to see an hour and a half set.  that was some of the tightest breakfast jamming i\'ve heard in a while.  probably the most balls out under 90 minute set i\'ve seen from the breakfast since the rufus show at northhampton early last year.  i\'m liking this trio ****.  the scheme itself was the highlight of the show, they did some great jamming leading into it, and once they finally dropped into scheme it was a throwdown.

It is located in a wierd part of town, and not to many people have ever even heard of it. I think that had a lot to do with the turnout. Also the venue sold no alcohol at all.   I thought the sound was pretty bad. The room is basically a long narrow box with very high ceilings. There was absolutley no acoustic treatment so the room was boomy and echo heavy. The PA was obviously very old, of questonable qualityand it was sitting on the floor. The sound guy was hardly even paying attention. At one point the guitar/keyboard player was practically jumping up and down on stage mid song trying to get the sound guy to turn up one of his keyboards. It took him a good 10-15 seconds to get up and turn the fader up I\'d highly recommend coming to a different venue when the Breakfast returns. There are plenty of nice venues in Indianapolis for bands that draw crowds about the size the Breakfast draws.

• This venue is owned by 2 younger guys who are financing the operation with their dayjobs.  It really isn\'t ready to be an active venue, but since these guys are doing this all on their own they have to do what they can to try and get some cash flowing.....
