man, i keep forgetting about this show.  need to get it out to you poeple....

wait, you have that one too?! :wah:

ok he now has a 3rd copy of this show so he should get it to you guys dave.   just a little quick info on it.  it was recorded with a mini-disc recorder with the stock mic.  it was setup dead center of the room on the floor approx. 20-25ft from the stage at about 7-8ft.  our buddy recorded it on last minutes notice as he borrowed the rig from his friend.  He forgot about the disc change at 80 minutes so there is some music missing from the start of taboot till the end of the drum solo.

but as colin posted it sounds great for a stock minidisc mic but needs tracked terribly.

man I gotta get this prov show.  best bequeb ever?  I gots to hear that.  cuz my fav version so far is the one from the knit a few months ago hands down.

this Queeb is good, its different. the first jam is dark and moody, definitely intense. the second jam is the highlight, drawn out so much longer than usual and with the "Shine On" teases and "Eye of the Tiger" jam its a special, unique version. best ever?? absolutely not in my opinion. ill take Puppethouse and Madison over it any day.

also, the WTF is definitely nasty. 3.12.05 is still my favorite.

dave, your recording of this show is phenomenal. one of the highest quality sounding shows ive ever downloaded. impressed and thankful. its great to finally hear a top-notch recording of Episode 3, which was a great version.

The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

I gotta disagree with you on that one I remember that debate came up after the knit, and  I gave it a good listen and the PH version blows the knit away IMHO

Episode 3 was really solid in this show. Just finished listening to it during lunch and it started to grow on me.

As far as the "best ever" Buquebus, it might have been the live experience that pushed this one over the edge.

always a heavy factor, which is why it always takes a second or third listen for me to make that kinda judgement, but the PH version holds up no matter how many times I listen to it,

Buquebus was O.O.C. (out of control) but i still don\'t know if i can confirm or deny the \'best bequebus ever\' claims.
