the band was all very tired. as were we. You could hear in thier playing but it wasnt really a bad thing. Like i said earlier the energy wasn\'t thru the roof but they hit several very melodic ,chilled, goovy, danceable jams

Hehe... MY energy was through the roof... and my pals too!

I swear its that Stratocaster :D

Adrian and Jordan also had some pretty sick moments

jam>cut me some slack=fuckin awesome! totally unexpected and i usually don\'t think of cmss as a typical opener song, but LOVED IT. LDZ>HDX was ridiculous, my first time seeing an HDX performed  love sir psycho, definitely one of my favorite covers that the band does, also one of my favorite rhcp songs of all time. 2001-SER HIGHLIGHT FOR ME..first time seeing the band play this, AWESOME!!!

as for late night, not too exciting..a bunch of retards in one of the three hotel rooms. nothing too out of the ordinary, tka humping josh dobson, falling asleep somewhere around 5AM to happy gilmore, the usual.

big thanks to greg\'s mom for having everyone over yesterday afternoon and making a delicious baked ziti/sandwich/salad meal. that hit the spot and also just reminded me off how we had to pull off the highway really fast cause fitz was about to pee in my car and didn\'t even make it into the gas station in time.

So did he just run behind the building/tree/bush, or was there a need for a change of pants????

well..we were on the highway and had lost greg ellis at this post (possibly the worst driver i have encountered/worst person to follow/nicest mom) and chris announced that he had to go #1. i told him that i would get off at the next exit and he said that \'this had never happened to him before\' but wanted me to pull over on the side of the highway, which todd, mandler and i decided was not a good idea. getting off the next exit, he keeps on saying **** like \'i only have 45 seconds guys\'. it was at this point that we started talking about beautiful water falls and making watery sounds (ssssss, gsshhh). coming up on the gas station he\'s like \'i have 15 seconds, no more..not kidding, i\'m a vegetarian, etc\'...as i\'m pulling into the station, he opens the door while i\'m still driving to pull up to the station store so i have to stop very abruptly. next thing you know, the kid runs out of the car, not in to the gas station but onto someone\'s lawn next door and comes this close to wetting himself, but luckily was able to pee on their fence in plain view.

i really wanna hear a LIT.

speaking of which, im shocked at the diversity this song is played at.. the first couple versions i heard were really short, and i gotta go look now again but one version i just got from this summer was something around 10 minutes. it fuckin rocked my ass off too. definitely want to hear it live real bad now.

as for MIAB, i think its a solid cover.. The Other One and Peaches still take the cake for me though.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

miab sucks balls..
i agree...i\'ve only seen them play this song a few times but feel like it has been enough. i know it\'s a ron PME song but there are so many better songs to choose from that he does a great job with singing/playing. MIAB is definitely a cig break song for me.

I don\'t mind miab, but I can think of other Police songs that would be better... or at least refreshing after having heard this one so many times. I do know that the first time I heard it I loved it.

To say it sucks balls is certainly too extreme for me.
